Documents Overview
Summary
Documentary evidence, accreditation certificates and policy information can be uploaded and managed from your account then displayed throughout the Profile.
For a document to be uploaded, it should:
- Be less than 8MB in size
- Be in a non editable format eg. pdf, tif or, gif
- Not be an editable format eg. docx or xlsx
If you need to compress, convert, merge, split, or reorder documents ‘Small PDF’ is a fantastic tool that will help manage file size and file formats etc before uploading.
Some Document slots require a single document. Other slots accept multiple documents . All Document slots will display a small single or multiple document icon.
Use the ‘Select‘ option to switch which documents are being displayed on your Profile.
Use the ‘View‘ option to check that the correct document(s) is being displayed on the Document slot.
How Documents Are Displayed
Within the Document Library, ‘Blue’ items are documents stored in the library and available to display against any Document slot in the current Profile.
‘Green’ items are stored in the library and selected to display on the relevant Document slot.
Clicking ‘(Unselect)‘ next to a ‘Green’ item removes a document from display. Clicking on a ‘Blue’ item displays it on the specific Document Slot and will turn to ‘Green’ when displayed.
Always use the ‘View‘ option to check which Document(s) are being displayed.
Trouble Shooting Documents
When uploading documents named the same as documents existing in the library, they do not overwrite but are added as duplicates.
There is no facility to delete documents from the Document Library. Main contractors only see the documents displayed within the Document slot. If specific documents need removing from the library, please contact the Support Team who will be happy to discuss the options available.
