Upload a New Document
Summary
‘Document Slots‘ are available throughout the Profile (example below). Use these to Upload new documents as well as Display and View documents.
‘Uploading’ a document adds it into an account ‘Document Library‘ (see image below). ‘Selecting’ an existing document from the library displays it on the Profile.
Small PDF is a fantastic tool to use when looking to convert documents into PDF or to compress file size
How To Upload a Document
Clicking the ‘Select‘ button on the document slot opens the document manager panel to:
- Upload a new document to the document library and display it on the document slot.
Or - Select an existing document from the document library to be displayed.
Firstly check your document fits the format requirements; the size is below 8MB and the format is an image file.
Click ‘Choose File‘ and browse your device for the required document.
Double clicking the required document returns to the Document manager panel.
Click ‘Upload File‘. A successful document upload will be added at the bottom of the library list on the left.
View the Document to check to Document has uploaded correctly and is visible.
Trouble shooting
When a document appears to upload but is not available in the document library, it may be because:
- The document size is larger than 8MB
- It may not be an image file format. It will it not accept .doc, .xls, .ppt , .txt, .csv type documents
- File name must also be alpha/numerical. Please refrain from using symbols in the name of the document
- The file name is very long
